"Try and travel the world"

1:27 AM

Today we finished making our own books with Nakamura-san!

I can't wait to fill up the notebook I made my self ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ  I already doodled the front page :)

For lunch we went to a cafe! This cafe looked like a house. I had no idea it was the cafe :0

The food we were served was delicious. All vegetarian but it was full of flavor :3 The cafe is open 6 days a week and apparently has a new guest chef everyday! That's a cool concept for a cafe. One of my dreams is to own a cafe or tea shop when I'm old and no longer a mother hen. (whenever that is. HAH.)

They also had a really nice art book!! I sat and stared at the whole book.

When we got back, I was already done making my book so I sat and crafted with our scraps :) I was inspired by the way Nakamura uses everything he has on hand. Meeting this man was definitely one of the best experiences here in Japan. (right next to climbing that mountain.) The last thing Nakamura said to us before we left was, "Travel the world, and contemplate about it." Being here I think is one step towards that goal.

As soon as we got back we all wanted some ice cream :) The one thing i'm going to miss is all the yummy snacks Japan has. Although, I can probably find them in the US at an Hmart or Mitsuwa.

As the amount of things we do during the day get shorter and shorter, the closer we get to our return to the US. In a way it's sort of sad, because I've gained so much just from these two weeks alone. But when I lay down I can tell I'm tired. I'm excited to go home and share all my adventures with my friends and family. I'm also excited to turn 21 the day after we get back :) And pokemon xy. cant forget that.

Tomorrow is a visit to a ~meditation cave~ Those who are brave enough to venture out will be walking through a dark cave, only lit by the candles we hold. The walk to the end is about 30-45 minutes, in a tight narrow space. I'm kind of excited. I've already climbed a mountain! What else is next 8)

Love,
Mana
