Photo Diary: Leaves begin to Fall

6:17 PM

Hello again, I AM ALIVE. And by alive I mean surviving the horrors of my bad luck beginnings of each new semester. Some how, some way, no matter how hard I try, the first two weeks of school are a complete shit show. Moving in I forgot to bring a variety of important items such as:
Bed Sheets
A Fan
Hamper
Forks
A pillow
Honey (for my tea. This is very important)

SO I had to spend some money on those things. Getting around to your new classes, and learning how each professor likes to teach the class is also very troubling for me. Good morning class, this is your first day, so here is 100000 pages to read by the next class. No, I do not care about your mental well being in settling within this course. I want results.

You can well imagine me, running around each course like a headless chicken with no bed sheets or some damn honey for my tea.

You'll all be happy to know that I persevered, through some tears and eating fried shit, and survived the first two weeks of my soon to be fabulous semester as a Junior.

This is my dorm room! This is the set up for now, I hope that later as the semester moves forward I will add more things to the walls and perhaps even some plants. A lot of what I bought at otakon is up there :')

Traveling back in time to the end of the summer: Here is a photo of the mural I did for the store I worked at! This was something I wanted to do for them considering I didn't have much else to do. That, and the fact that their original display of dusty floats hanging by a string drove me up the wall. So I painted that wall. Take that, display.

These were my gets from otakon!! Along with lots of prints that are currently on my wall. I was so happy to receive a sticker and some buttons and the Devil's Dance 18+ book from hamletmachine <3 She was such a delight to be with and so so sweet ;0; I wish I could have talk to her more but alas, I was star struck.

I was going to put my many photos that I took from the con, but they are way too many for this brief of a photo diary. I shall save them for another occasion.

ISABELLE. Was waiting for me at home from a certain someone. I legit screamed in the kitchen. My sister looked at me like I was nuts, and my baby 2 year old brother could not fathom what was in my hands. Her hair jingles just like in the game, she is on my windowsill as we speak.

She fit perfectly in my bag. She was my secretary, and I carried her everywhere.

My next trip was Hershey Park with my fambam! That trip was more for my little brother than anyone else, but none the less, I had lots of fun! I won a bunch of stuffed animals, got a hershey hoodie for 20 bucks, and enjoyed the day.

My love for customization and stationary go hand in hand. I put this lovely sticker of Rei that I got from otakon on my new moleskine and put some fuckin stars on that shit. Then look at that fucking notebook, and that fuckin giraffe. The minute I saw this with Deanna I had to have it. I love having notebooks that say shit that doesn't make any sense. I love the pens as well they write super well it brings tears of joy.

I have a hidden love for fashion, even though a lot of styles are tough to afford for a college student. I do most of my shopping while I receive some sort of stable income during the summer, but after that I stop myself from shopping. but wHEN I DO SHOP, I enjoy taking photos of styles and combinations (even though I am not a fashionista in the slightest. I don't really know what to call my style of clothing.) The romper is my current favorite because I can jump around freely 8^).

Today I had a pretty smooth, and stable, Monday. Which is to say the least, rare. I am grateful for it though, and will look at it as a sign that, hopefully, the rest of this week will also be smooth and stable. I do want to post about my trip to the Jesuit center with my classmates, but I will do that tomorrow. I really want to share my experience of living in silence for 2 days.

To those of you who are in college/ highschool/ middleschool? I hope that your first few weeks of classes have been going swimmingly! Here's to a new semester!!

Love,

Mana
