I don't know when the snow is going to stop

The things I enjoy about winter are the things that keep me warm. Hot chocolate, hot tea, big sweaters, scarves, blankets, watching movies in bed, etc., are my favorite things about winter. This is mostly because they involve not spending a lot of time outside in the cold. If winter had more sun I think I would like it more. The lack of sun during winter gets to me sometimes and to be honest it can be depressing. I love being outside, wearing t-shirts and shorts, drinking iced tea, and going out with friends. I feel like I can't really do much of that in the winter.

However, there are sometimes when I find winter to be very pretty and I enjoy being outside to witness those times. When the first snow of the season falls, looking at icicles that formed on trees, making snowmen after a huge snow storm, etc., those are the times when I enjoy being outside. Unfortunately a lot of those things were much more exciting when I was a kid. Now that I am older, I enjoy sitting inside and watching the snow fall instead.
I've been taking advantage of my time inside. I've been listening to some very fruitful podcasts such as The Lively Show and Jenna and Julian Podcast. The Lively Show gives me a lot of inspiration to be both successful, and be intentional with my life. I want to be as successful spiritually and physically as the people Jess Lively interviews! The show is a real pick me up and has integrated itself into my morning routines. Jenna and Julian are my guilty pleasure though. Their relationship makes me laugh because they are both so honest with one another from what it seems. I like who Jenna is becoming as far as growing with Julian goes so listening to their podcast gives me happiness. These podcasts give me life during these cold winter days.
I have also made it a point to drink a lot more water during the day, and a lot more tea that focuses on releasing stress in the body. Mint tea has been something that helps me a lot. It was hard to make tea this past semester due to it taking up some time (I opted to shitty coffee from the dining halls to keep me alive). But, if you wanna feel happier you gotta work for it sometimes! So I have been taking time to make my tea in the morning and at night.
The last thing that has been bugging me and something I want to really work on is minimalizing my space. By this I mean, I want to make my room less cluttered and full of shit I don't even use. IT'S SO HARD THOUGH. I constantly think I'm going to be using a specific notebook, when in fact, I will never use that notebook. After reading this post off of pinterest and looking at other minimalistic rooms like
or closets like this

I'm motivated to finally do something about all the crap in my room.
Finally, despite my busy schedule, I've been trying to fit in some doodling when I can.
